It has 1670 cc capacity, a similar engine to the TR3 but to smaller capacity. Body styled by Michelotti. This car is original and has the 4-speed floor-mounted gear change with radio and leather seats as extras. Heater standard. 60,316 miles have been covered in 60 years. Being first registered on the 27th of March 1957. To the first owner in Scotland (hence Scottish car badges on badge bar.) The car is in very sound full working condition with 5 registered previous owners. There are 13 MOTs in file and there is an original Workshop Manual and handbook plus relevant literature. Clutch and master cylinders have been fitted also brake shoes. Accessories included are Jack, starting handle and box of S/H spares. Auctioneers Notes: This is a delightful example of a 60-year-old Standard Ensign, finished in black with red leather interior, in those days heater and leather upholstery were extras.  We do not have a lot of history of this car but we do have old MOT’s from April ’90, mileage 53,844 to 2011 mileage 59,347 which shows she has not covered many miles in the last 29 years.  She has an old green logbook and a current V5, which indicates that she has had 5 former keepers since 1959.  With this car, you get a number of original publications starting off with original sales catalogue, workshop manual, second edition, a bound spare part catalogue, accessories catalogue, practical hints to maintaining your car and instruction book.  This Ensign is fitted with a 1.6-litre engine OHV and a floor 4-speed gear change.  This super little car may be viewed by appointment.
