 Lime green. The charismatic Ogle designed Bug, with its distinctive wedge-shaped fibreglass body clothing a new three-wheel chassis, became available in March 1970 as the 700E. Production would continue until 1974 with various upgrades and engine capacity increases. The majority of the 2268 production vehicles were finished in a vibrant orange, but there were a few special order promotional vehicles believed to be finished in different colours, six in black for a London film company, six in lime for Roses Lime Juice and six for Rothmans cigarettes in white. This lime green Bug we have the pleasure of offering for auction is believed to be one of the Roses Lime Juice promotional vehicles. In the current ownership, a lady enthusiast, the Bug has been fitted with a new carburettor and fuel pump. The Bug has an 850cc Reliant engine, which was fitted by a previous owner for improved performance. This eye-catching microcar is now said to be running well and will be offered for auction will some history and is very reluctantly for sale due to our vendor's health issues.
