A 1967 MG Midget Mk III, registration number PLB 425E, red. The MG Midget is a no-frills two-seat sports car in the sporting tradition introduced alongside its sibling Austin Healey Sprite in 1961. The Midget would remain in production until 1979 with various engine upgrades and subtle body improvements. This Mk III example is an early square rear arch 1275 model. An older restoration which has had a colour change from its original blue to red. The interior is trimmed in black vinyl with white piping and has an aftermarket Moto-Lita wood rim steering wheel fitted. Further enhancements include Minilite style alloy wheels, a luggage rack, spotlights and a Kenlowe cooling fan. The MG is now said to be running well by our vendor and offers the next custodian tremendous no-nonsense classic sports car fun. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration.
