FIRE ENGINE
Fully Coachbuilt, no doubt the industrial model, airport, factory locations etc
The engine has been rebuilt by the vendor over a number of years. Now looking for an enthusiast who has a secret fetish for fire appliances..time to come out of the closet!!
The vendor has supplied the following information:
We purchased the vehicle in June 2016 and spent the following 2 years restoring the vehicle.
The engine has been fully restored and a new clutch fitted at a cost of £3500. The braking system has had all the hydraulics etc replaced. The bodywork was repaired and fully resprayed, please note that the body is fully detachable.
This vehicle was 1 of 3 built in 1958 by Jennings, this 1 is the only survivor. This vehicle when new was supplied to Manchester Airport when they finished using it the vehicle was sent to St. Helens Transport Museum where we found it.
Due to 2 heart attacks, we had to close our business which resulted in us having nowhere to keep her and therefore the requirement to sell her.
