Our tame trailer aficionado (and they do exist) tells us that PRG Trailers are so superbly constructed that their owners refer to Rolls Royces as the PRGs of the automotive world.
This PRG Prosporter XW is no exception and cost over £27,000 when new – which was little more than five years ago. Fully-enclosed, 19 ft bed length, Winterhoff safety coupling and multiple access points, this has to be one of the best trailers on the market.
The list of features is enormous and includes a remotely-operated all-wheel-drive moving system, hydraulic lift ramp at the front to take the trailer’s weight, electric steps to personnel doors, reversing cameras, tracking system, Winterfhoff safety coupling, Superwinch S4000 winch, IP66 240v electric system, storage bins, shelves etc, etc. The original sales invoice and specification sheet is on file.
This PRG trailer is in superb condition and appears to have had little use – or perhaps just one very careful owner. It is the perfect trailer for the classic car owner who likes his cars to travel in style, who like a bit of comfort himself, and, with its EC Certificate of Conformity, ideal for continental events. Brightwells would like to offer one word of advice to the lucky new owner: Do Not Lend It Out – the trailer you lend out is never the trailer you get back, and it would be a shame to spoil this one.
