1973 VW 1303 SUPER BEETLE
- Chassis number: 1342052751
This Super Beetle has been customised using Turbo body‑styling and whale tail spoiler popularised during the 1980's. The red paintwork is finished with white detailing, blue pin striping, white vinyl full sunroof with wind deflector and genuine Autoplas louvres fitted to the rear screen. Chrome work includes the front headlight surrounds and eyelids, door handles, front and rear grills, side skirting and exhaust tail pipes. The interior is fitted with Lotus white sports front and rear seats embossed with the VW logo, matching door cards and dashboard, cream carpets with red piping, Nardi sports steering, red seat belts, electric window conversion, rear opening quarter windows, chrome handbrake lever and custom fitted oil pressure and battery gauges. Described mechanically as excellent, benefiting from a fully rebuilt engine, regular servicing and driving like a modern car with good suspension. Minor paintwork defects would benefit from some attention. Comes with some books, manuals, bags and picnic equipment. The history file includes a few invoices dating from 2015 and MoT history print‑out from 2014 to 2017. Mileage recorded at 90,700.
