Sandown Park Race Course, Esher KT10 9AJ
Tuesday 5th June 2018
Registration No: 417 NTU
Chassis No: TS804650
In 1957 the TR3 was updated with various changes including a full width radiator grille, and this face-lifted model was commonly referred to as the Triumph TR3A. However, the cars were not badged as such, and the TR3A name was not used officially. The TR3A was built between 1957 and 1962.
The Triumph TR3A offered here is described by the vendor to be in very good condition inside and out, and to have the original green registration book showing that it was manufactured in 1961.
There is a Standard register document - extract from the production records of The Standard Motor Company Ltd - giving details of the vehicle's manufacture, including its building date, time and destination, and there is a modern V5C accompanying the vehicle, which shows six former keepers. The vehicle has a new hood and also has a storm hood and side windows with fittings, which have not currently been fitted to the vehicle, therefore side windows may require some attention before fitting is possible.
The car comes with a number of receipts and past MOT certificates forming part of the vehicle's service history, along with the original log book. The wheels have recently been painted silver and the car has been driven up until recently with no problems.
Note: This description is provided by the vendor and unless otherwise stated is 'Not Verified' by Barons or any person employed by Barons. Prospective purchasers are advised to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any statements made, whether they be statements of fact or opinion.
