Although not well known in the UK, the Levante
range of small caravans were a common sight in Southern Europe in the
‘60s and ‘70s.
Designed to be pulled by the low-powered cars that proliferated at the time, they weighed in at less than 400kgs complete. This meant that Mama, Papa and some Bambini could enjoy a touring holiday at modest cost albeit at modest speed as well.
This delightful twin-berth Levante Graziella 300 has seen little or no use since it was delivered sometime in the early 1960s and has spent its life until now in the Rome area. Just 3 metres in length and in very clean and tidy condition, it comes well-equipped with a kitchen, wardrobe and dinette area, which also turns into a generous double bed.
With camping and glamping right back in fashion, this well turned-out Graziella is sure to offer its new owners many happy adventures, as well as providing a talking point wherever it goes. If you own a classic which isn’t blessed with a gutsy motor, this elegant, period lightweight looks like an ideal way to join the classic caravan set, even if you never thought it possible. It would look great behind the Fiat 500D elsewhere in this catalogue!
