1989 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL CONVERTIBLE
Registration No: F267 OJE
Chassis No: SCBZD00A4KCH29078
Engine No: 66561L4101/9
Estimate: £58,000 - £64,000

  • Low mileage
  • Delightful condition
From its production in 1921, the Bentley name has remained synonymous with prestige, performance and luxury. The finest Bentleys of the post-war period were designated ‘Continental’; a title which was re-introduced in 1984 in the form of the Bentley Continental Convertible. The Bentley Continental is powered by a V8 engine incorporating an aluminium-silicon alloy block, aluminium cylinder heads and cast iron wet cylinder liners; the bore was 4.1" and the stroke 3.9" giving a total of 6.75 litres. Fuel was supplied via a Bosche MK-Motronic fuel injection system, with drive provided via a four-speed automatic GM Hydromatic gearbox and a top speed quoted by Bentley of 131mph.
Originally registered on 1st March 1989, this Bentley Continental has been in the hands of a private collector recently and is only being sold due to lack of suitable storage facilities. The fastidious vendor has ensured she presents in excellent order with no marks on the spruce green paintwork and the parchment leather interior is exquisite. With a modest 80, 174 miles on the odometer, Rolls-Royce and Bentley aficionados will be aware this Continental is barely run-in. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 18th September 2018 with no advisories. This delightfully handsome Bentley looks great with the hood up and magnificent with the hood down, whether travelling to the shops or the South of France does convertible motoring get any better than this?
