In 22 years over 58,000 Mini pickups were produced; they were basic, although \'fully equipped\' examples could be ordered with extra creature comforts at extra cost. Like the van, the pickup was renamed as the Mini 95 in 1978. This particular pickup has clearly been the subject of an extensive restoration to a very high standard. The current vendor\'s late father was a car mechanic who loved restoring vehicles; he restored this pickup from the chassis up over a period of several years. It has been customised with a very smart interior, a wooden lined rear compartment, alloy wheels, a 1275cc engine and twin carburettors. ORT 221W is a unique pickup that is offered with a V5c, several old V5s, old MOT certificates and sundry paperwork.
