 1932 FORD MODEL A HOTROD
Chassis No: 52/19311
Registration No: UFF117

The Ford Model A was manufactured between 1928 and 1931 and was the second huge success for Ford after its predecessor, the Model T. The Model A was offered in a wide variety of body styles and was the first Ford to incorporate the standard set of driver controls with a conventional clutch, brake pedal, accelerator and gearshift.
This Ford Roadster Hotrod has been extensively re-worked in recent years and presents in exceptional order. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic vendor has enjoyed this fun vehicle immensely, even completing a round trip to Le Mans. The specification is impressive; she is fitted with a 3500cc Rover V8 engine which is mated to a recently reconditioned Borg Warner 65 three-speed automatic gearbox and a Volvo rear axle. The stainless steel twin exhausts emit a beautiful tone, commensurate with such a sporty vehicle. Sitting on a well-shod set of Boyd Coddington billet wheels, the aesthetics of this Hotrod are equally as impressive as the mechanics. The bodywork is in excellent order, with panels that are in proportion and a first class paint finish. Interior wise UFF 117 is trimmed in a one-off custom interior finished in suede/faux leather. The instruments are minimal and easy to read, this Ford Hotrod offers surprisingly good ergonomics. With chrome flame etched exposed rocker covers, chrome billet steering wheel and chrome piston-shaped gear lever, it is fair to say this vehicle will turn a head in a crowd. Supplied with a V5C registration document and benefitting from being both road fund license and MoT exempt, this Hotrod is offered for sale with ‘bring a smile to your face’ motoring.
