The Jaguar XJS was produced from 1975 until 1996 and was initially intended as a replacement for the E Type.  For many, the V12 is the superior engine; ample power coupled with good design result in these motor cars offering many miles of pleasurable, effortless and stylish motoring, and in 2017, the investment model represents excellent value for money.

Finished in Solent Blue metallic, this example has special factory order magnolia leather trim with complimentary blue carpets. Cosmetically, the motor car is difficult to fault and the vendor informs us that it is in very good order throughout. Mechanically, there are no known issues. Interestingly, we understand that twenty-two miles per gallon is regularly achieved.
The history file contains the original sales invoice, handbooks and the service book in the original Jaguar leather wallet and the V5C registration certificate. A comprehensive schedule of maintenance is also included, detailing work carried out by Jaguar specialist XJ engineering from 2007 until June 2014 when the current enthusiast custodian purchased the motor car from DVCA. The last three years have seen that maintenance continued to a high standard.
