- 1 of 2 SWBs bought direct from Enzo Ferrari by Colonel Ronnie Hoare and used to found the latter's Maranello Concessionaires business
- Entered from the estate of the late Richard Colton Esq.
- 1 of 10 UK supplied examples
- Chassis 1995GT and its sister Chassis 1993GT were the first steel-bodied 250GT SWB cars to be made. They also featured an unusual 'semi competition' specification:
9.5:1 compression ratio
10mm high-lift camshafts
Triple Weber 40 DCL 6 carburettors (with trumpet intakes)
LSD
Polished rear springs
100-litre fuel tanks
Competition gearbox
- Alloy bonnet, bootlid and doors
- Supplied new to Mr Eyre of Sea Corner Garage, Highcliffe, Hants and initial servicing records on file
- Purchased by Richard Colton from Maranello Concessionaires in March 1976
- Original engine overhauled at 49,000 and 69,000 miles
- 101,600 miles and toured extensively throughout Europe
- Offered for sale to benefit the RNLI
