- Entered from the estate of the late Richard Colton Esq.
- Supplied new to racing driver Patricia Mary 'Patsy' Burt
- Extensively restored and upgraded during the mid- / late 1990s. John Brown of Leaping Cats refurbished the bodywork, Rob Beere built the tuned 3.8 litre XK DOHC engine and Michael Stewart oversaw the project.
- Rob Beere 3.8 litre XK DOHC engine (straight-port head, D-type camshafts, triple SUs, forged pistons, wide blade balanced rods, top hat cylinder liners, electronic ignition, lightened flywheel etc) dyno tested at 264bhp and 268lbft of torque
- Getrag five-speed manual gearbox, limited slip differential
- Four-wheel disc brakes, 15in x 6in wire wheels
- Adjustable Leda telescopic rear shock absorbers, competition springs, 1-in diameter torsion bars, stiffer anti-roll bar
- XK140 rack and pinion steering plus power assistance
- Uprated cooling system, engine and gearbox moved 1.5in further back in the chassis
- Alternator, oil cooler, Kenlowe fan etc
- Interior and exterior subtly enhanced
- 27,000 miles since completion on road rallies and tours
