Offered for sale is a 1.5L 1974 Saab 96 V4 manual that has been with the current owner for the last year. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 96 / 135.

Classic Car Auctions says:

A beautifully restored 1974 Saab 96 V4. Benefiting from a restoration, which includes we are told a new floor, new sills, new suspension, new tyres, new brakes, bumpers re chromed, new windscreen, new headlights, new radiator, new exhaust. Showing a unwarranted mileage of 58,876 miles.
The history of the V4 model is a most interesting one, the V4 was Saab's first 4-stroke engine, but it was actually made by Ford in Germany. It replaced the two strokes in the mid 1960s and carried on in production until 1980. Renowned as a rugged, torquey engine, it gained a reputation for reliability, longevity and performance, helped of course by Saab's rallying successes. 96 V4s won the RAC rally in 1968 and 1971, among many other international successes.
This particular 1974 Saab 96 V4 offered today has been painstakingly restored and is a credit to the vendor, the inside of the car on the face of it is in timewarp condition, with its orignal interior fitted. These cars are becoming more collectable, they have a lovely retro feel about them. Viewing of this car is highly recommended.
